Europe is the home to some of the best music festivals in the world. If you’re spending the summer here, make sure you don’t miss out on these five ear- and mind-blowing festivals.

1.  Festival Internacional de Benicàssim, Spain

Wild, energetic and over-the-top: three words that describe the Benicàssim Festival near Valencia perfectly. It’s every bit as much a dazzling party as it is a cool festival. “Benny” focuses on pop, rock and electronic music.

Kasabian, Ellie Goulding and Chase & Status are present to intensify your summer feelings and get you dancing like crazy. Also, there are plenty of beaches nearby where you can relax in between two performances. What's not to like?

2. Isle of Wight Festival, England

Often referred to as "the new Woodstock", the Isle Of Wight Festival is a constantly expanding music festival on - surprise - the Isle of Wight in England. 3. Sziget, Hungary

If you'd like to combine an awesome city trip with a phenomenal festival, Sziget Festival in Budapest is the way to go! Being located on the Óbuda Island, Sziget is literally a city-within-a-city that is the home to world-famous artists for an entire week.

You can party at one of the many island bars, on the Full Moon parties or escape from the madness for a moment to visit Budapest. Sensational line-up? Check! Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Skrillex, Bastille, Stromae, London Grammar and many other incredible artists will blow you away!

4. Roskilde Festival, Denmark

Roskilde Festival is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and is run by a non-profit organization. It used to be a festival for hippies, but today it’s much more mainstream. From electronic music to hard rock, from Rihanna to Sigur Rós: Roskilde Festival offers you a delightful mix of music genres and exceptional artists.

5. Outlook, Croatia

Dance festivals are booming business in Croatia! Outlook is the largest Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe and gathers the best underground dancefloor music in the world. Outlook is the perfect combo of a sunny vacation by the sea and a unique music festival.
