Day of Dance: where to go in Brussels?

Day of Dance

  • 29 apr 2017

Don't wait until Saturday night to shake it out on the dance floor. This weekend's second annual Day of Dance will keep you chained to the rhythm all day long. Let the beat control your body while BILL guides you through the best events in Brussels:

Dancing in the street

Where? Brussels centre

No need to go far, dance is right outside your doorstep this weekend. A group of dancing duos, made up of professional dancers and dance students, will take over the city streets during this One to One performance.

Choreographer Benjamin Vandewalle joins forces with Brussels based international contemporary dance school P.A.R.T.S. to show the capital's international dance scene. Follow the dancing duos along their path through the city or just wander around for random encounters.

 Rhythm is gonna get you

Where? BOZAR

Whether you're seven or seventy, choreographer Seppe Baeyens of dance company Ultima Vez invites you "ten dans" (to dance) at BOZAR for an animated (and free) workshop that connects all ages through the universal language of dance.

Dance the night away

Where? Beursschouwburg

Get into the groove at Beursschouwburg. From 10PM until the wee hours you can train your inner dancing queen at four different urban dance workshops, from belly dancing to reggaeton. This is the place to be to practice some new moves for your next night out.
